Jesus is Lord, Whatsoever Things Are

The King’s Court

I noted in an earlier post that I remember when I worked in Teen Court, before we approached the judge, we had to say, ‘If it will please the court’ (judge).  We would humbly approach the judge- this was his jurisdiction, his property.  How dare we approach his presence any ‘kind of way’?

What if today was, as in days of olde, when kings had ultimate authority?

What if we allowed the Lord’s preferences be first and foremost in our lives?

I say that I am a child of the Most High King. The king with the capital ‘K’: King Jesus  He who is Author and Finisher, Alpha and Omega.  He who loves me and favors me.  He who know the thoughts that He thinks toward me- thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give me an expected end.

I know that my life would have been far simpler if I had done this early on: I decree and I declare that in every decision I make, that I will make it, as it should please my Lord!
