One of TV’s most popular talent shows today is ‘The Voice’.
I’ve seen it a time or two, it seems very interesting… With their backs facing the contestant, after listening to the sound of someone’s voice, successful musicians and artists decide if they want to turn their chair around and fight for a chance to coach an (amateur) artist to success!

I wish that I could say that every time I heard the voice of the Lord I quickly turned my chair in excitement to be coached by Him. Sometimes what He has to say is cumbersome or boring. At other times, it’s just too much to bear.
… The disciples agree: Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? (John 6:60)
Ok, so that’s true, but when we really think of it, it is clear that there no alternatives. There is no other voice more significant or powerful. We have no other choice but to follow His voice. He loves us and He cares for us! He has all power and authority in His hand.
All things considered, it should not be difficult. We should too, turn our chairs and our faces to Him in amazement, ready to be led by still waters. Ready for our table, prepared in the presence of our enemies.
He is the most important voice I will ever hear, therefore, I am resolved to get this right!
I can more clearly decipher His voice and follow His guidance than I did yesterday, and I am determined to learning and grow, day by day.
